Wind is the prominent feature of Leaf Wind Run. What sounds like rain is, in fact, leaves dropping from the trees in a river valley out on the Canadian Prairies. The mournful call of the freight train is also from out there. There is a track of wind recorded through the flue of a fireplace and the melody is a sample of a steel plate found by the fireplace. Also featured are windscreen wipers in my car on a very stormy day.
