This is the setting of a small forest on a hill overlooking the Tyne Valley. Aeolian harps were used to capture the movement of the wind and it creates feeling of open space and moving air.

The solos are aeolian harps in duet. The orchestration is a take on a modern orchestra being populated with electronic instruments – heavy analogue basses and wavetable arpeggiators together with traditional sections. It makes for a sensory delight that rattles all the elements of the hearing system (the back teeth) and makes me think of rockets landing or taking off, hence the science fiction reference in the title.
