I received a hydrophone as a gift and have been playing with underwater sounds ever since. These sounds were recorded inside the burn using the hydrophone together with regular ambience recorded at the same time. The track is built around the bubbles and current from the water by extracting profiles from the waveforms. That information is transformed to other instruments and rhythms. The melody is a transcription of water drops and bubbles. As a bass player, an improvisation to this orchestration seemed a logical thing to do.
